Peter Palfrader, the lead programmer of the Mixmaster team, replies to Frog-asskisser Cheshire's plea to end the blocking of Frog by well over a dozen other remailer operators. (I believe the number of remops blocking Frog is somewhere around 15.) -------------------------------------------------- http://freedom.gmsociety.org/pipermail/remops/2003-July/012804.html [Remops] A Request To End The Blocking of Frog Peter Palfrader peter at palfrader.org Thu Jul 10 05:07:24 EDT 2003 Previous message: [Remops] Re: A Request To End The Blocking of Frog Next message: [Remops] A Request To End The Blocking of Frog Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] On Wed, 09 Jul 2003, Cheshire Admin wrote: > May I request, once more, that the blocking of Frog by other > remops be ended? May I remind you that it was Frog Admin who started to block other remailers, namely randseed and rot26. He constantly asserts that Len and I are responsible for flooding him but as of today has failed to provide any evidence[1]. Putting other people's e-mail addresses into the header of each outgoing message obviously is abuse; no discussion needed. It's bad enough that we cannot cut down abuse of the remailer network to almost zero without compromising our users' security, but when an operator himself is doing the abuse the other remops can do, and in fact have done, something against this. It's also worth noting that this isn't the first time this admin has taken such a questionable action, having set his remailer's From: to Frog2 in the past. When and if Frog Admin stops his abuse and his lies we again can talk about putting this useless conflict aside. Sincerely Peter 1. of course he cannot produce any evidence: I'm not flooding, nor have I ever flooded, any remailer. I am very confident that the same holds true for Len. -- Stats, Metastats, All Pingers' List, RemSaint, Keyrings: http://www.noreply.org/ Echolot - a pinger for Anonymous Remailers - http://www.palfrader.org/echolot/ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
