Plus another kick under the belt against whistle-blowers. Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] This is rather interesting. Up until the last two posts to this list by Frog-Admin, all of the "Len is a Francophobe/fbi agent/flooder/enemy of free speech/etc" attacks against me were done anonymously, usually in flood form against APAS, by presumably one individual we've been calling "The Troll". I had been giving Frog-Admin the benefit of a doubt, up until the very end, when I had overwhelming circumstantial evidence that he was the origin of the latest flood. I even sent him private mail, offering to meet with him and discuss the current attacks on the remailer network in the case that we were being played against each other by a common adversary. (Frog-Admin did not reply). These last two posts, however, remove the possibility, in my mind, that Frog-Admin and the Troll are different people. To continue allowing for that possibility would be pure folly on my part. I will be publishing an analysis of this latest attack, as well as the past attacks against my remailer. What concerns me most about the nature of these attacks, however, is that they began almost immediately after I assumed the maintainer role for Mixmaster. Subsequent attacks against other remops commenced after they began to get actively involved in Mixmaster development. The conclusion that Frog-Admin's goals are to hinder development and deployment of improved remailer software and more secure remailer protocols is not nearly as improbable as it is simply distressing. In the midst of all of this, I have also received a DMCA takedown notice from a lawyer representing the Church of Scientology. I will give more details on that once I am able to properly respond to it. --Len. Same goes for the first attempt to flood Frog, but Sassaman collapsed his own Mail Server and made up an incredible story to distract attention. > Does it come as a surprise that FROG started being flooded 90 minutes after I indicted Sassaman for his former hostile actions against FROG, and I announced that I would block RANDSEED on those grounds? > > > > -----BEGIN PGPENVELOPE INFORMATION----- > Version: N/A > > gpg: Signature made Wed May 14 15:19:22 2003 PDT using RSA key ID 3C777CC5 > gpg: Good signature from "Frog-Admin" > gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature! > gpg: There is no indication that the signature belongs to the owner. > Fingerprint: 6B A3 49 15 34 9C 3B 50 A1 F5 EF D1 D7 94 84 2B > > pgpenvelope_decrypt: message processed at Wed May 14 21:12:53 2003 > > -----END PGPENVELOPE INFORMATION----- > > --Len.
