Here is a direct example of Frog picking up SK/FROG/TROLL's horseshit and propagating it as factual apas folklore/history. What did Sassaman do to deserve this? First he had the argument with Frog about abuse happening through Frog's remailer. He later apologized for some of his remarks, and denied complaining to Frog's upstream provider. Second, Sassaman now has the temerity to change from the more insecure Type I to the more secure Type II system. You would think that it was his privilege, since randseed *is* his remailer. Third, he didn't beg Frog for permission. Notice how the psychotic Frog's rant goes so far afield of the facts that it becomes ludicrous. You can check the PGP sig right here. It IS Frog's. http://www.google.com/groups?q=sassaman+group:alt.privacy.anon-server+author:frog-admin&hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8&newwindow=1&safe=off&scoring=r&selm=VE3LSLZN37756.0160069444%40Gilgamesh-frog.org&rnum=2 From: Frog-Admin (Anonymous-Remailer@See.Comment.Header) Subject: Complete disregard of end-users by Sassaman. AGAIN. Plus another kick under the belt against whistle-blowers. Newsgroups: alt.privacy.anon-server Date: 2003-05-14 15:28:54 PST -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Did you see this in APAS? http://lexx.shinn.net/pipermail/remops/2003-May/012603.html |From rabbi@abditum.com Sat May 10 10:07:03 2003 |From: rabbi@abditum.com (Len Sassaman) |Date: Sat May 10 09:07:03 2003 |Subject: [Remops] Update reply blocks |Message-ID: | |randseed is switching to Type II only. There are too many problems |inherent in the Type I system to justify continuing its use. | |Please update your reply blocks accordingly. | |--Len. 1) It is another major evidence of total disregard of end-users by Len Sassaman. 1a) It was not cross-posted to apas, so end-users could not see it. Who is Len Sassaman's audience? Certainly not the apas people, the end-users, the whistle-blowers, the oppressed. He does not talk to them, he is not interested in their problems, he is not interested in their mail, he just talks to remops. 1b) It was not PGP-signed 1c) It just happens like that, like some urge to take a dump early morning. No delay allowed to update anything. You might think that deeming a protocol unreliable is a well-thought decision, which took some preparation, maturation, and can be planned for transition. WRONG! It was an emergency, users got their mail lost, it was done before it was announced. 2) Once again, the assault against nym accounts gets confirmed. After the FUD by Palfrader about imaginary 'partitioning attacks', and the recurrent problems with lost RSA support (DIZUM, CF), and a few other technical issues, it gets confirmed that Sassaman and Palfrader are doing their best to make Cpunk as unreliable as possible. The reasons are unclear (put your fantasy here) but the actions are consistent with such agenda. 3) Once again, the assault against Free Speech gets confirmed Nym accounts are the tool of choice for whistle-blowers, organized groups, and the core of people with a *real* need for privacy. While Sassaman is very proud to participate in the flooding of apas (in the name of free speech aka right to flood), Randseed had the dubious honor to shut down after 09/11, when political discussion *might* have become heated. Randseed will allow you to flood B.schl..s by thousands, so with ..wns and Fl.sh, but a serious discussion about you_name_it is absolutely out of the picture. "Count on me only if you are doing something stupid", that is his motto and the label he puts on remailers. 4) The brutality of the decision: -bad wake up / suppress Cpunk support-, fits perfectly the rest of the picture: unable to control his francophobia, not once but twice, and after he was told that such outbursts were unwelcome. Same goes for the first attempt to flood Frog, but Sassaman collapsed his own Mail Server and made up an incredible story to distract attention. Does it come as a surprise that FROG started being flooded 90 minutes after I indicted Sassaman for his former hostile actions against FROG, and I announced that I would block RANDSEED on those grounds? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: N/A iQEVAwUBPsLA6oDgT488d3zFAQF+sAgAkRH4n2fF7FuTus8UGgy1BZTS+rWeOIWq jY1STNoX5qK0Ko+e5nq863/LOJSwiDSLw10nUOW7wU7106CmnZGeociuLGhyhOc8 nz1khoGFnyp2jdS9b1aNoOxbBgTttyD9pnAwMhgAXr9j1lb/jDikqcTuIJs4fdzp zjIHjBu4wHxs+T6QkOFfk/Ga8jfGAuwNaK5+gCjTBH/opYfM7m7My6voFfyRdt72 5z9R08kIrnz0Kzkh9AAnFzzmfggchVZU1MAJtk+nBxL5Y6NMGTllOzduFTps4n48 JWSDSnmc9TJuLUTZQZED15y/pjuHEGDx5UhVf4+h2D1ZIH5K5mbxag== =834s -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
